2021 Randolph Scholarships
Our two Bill Anders scholarship winners:
Chinanu Okoli managed a 4.09 GPA while taking 5 AP courses, French, and band. Activities include: Senator in RHS Student Council; Music Honor Society; VP of Black Student Union. Son of Nigerian immigrants; with his twin sister, interned at Milton Academy. Deciding where to attend, including Hofstra, Emerson, and UMass Boston.

- Activities include: Senator in RHS Student Council; Music Honor Society; VP of Black Student Union
- Intended College Major: Journalism/Communication/Media
- Son of Nigerian immigrants; with his twin sister, interned at the Saturday Course at Milton Academy
- Undecided where attending; Accepted at Hofstra; Emerson; UM Lowell; UM Dartmouth; UM Boston; Bridgewater State; Worcester State; and Salem State.
Faridah Aziz took 10 Honors courses at Blue Hills Regional Technical High School, where she started a Massachusetts High School Democrats Chapter. Her activities include: State House tour guide; Youth for Climate Justice; ACLU; Student Council; marching band; and Softball team. Accepted at Carleton College; UM Amherst; U. Vermont; and Rutgers, where she intends to major in Philosophy "to understand the social constructs that negatively impact the lives of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC)"
- Faridah attended Blue Hills Regional Technical High School with a 4.54 GPA including 10 Honors courses
- Activities include: State House tour guide; Youth for Climate Justive; Sunrise Movement; ACLU; H.S. Dems; Student Council; marching band; Softball team
- Undecided where attending; Accepted at Carleton College; UM Amherst; U. Vermont; and Rutgers
- Intended College Major: Philosophy "to understand the social constructs that negatively impact the lives of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC)"
- Started a Massachusetts High School Democrats (MAHSD) Chapter at Blue Hills Regional; worked for several campaigns including Sen. Warren and Rep. Pressley
Randolph United winners:
Carson Dang managed a 4.76 GPA -- 1st in class rank -- while taking 7 AP courses, Spanish, and Music Technology. His activities include: Photography/filmmaking/graphics; NHS; GĐPT Liên Hoa (Youth Group); His intended College Major: Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern. Carson spent the pandemic "treasure-hunting" among discarded electronics, to give to family & friends.

Pamela Remedor attended Blue Hills Regional Technical High School and will be attending Bay Path University to study Nursing, based on helping with family medical needs. She moved to US with identical twin sister from Dominican Republic; helped sister with ELL and then others since. She worked during high school at the Dedham Mall and Five Guys, and participated in church activities throughout
